A note from our Principal:
Welcome to Michelle’s International Learning House, where we are committed to providing the best pedagogy from around the world in a safe, nurturing environment where a child’s passions are cultivated and differences are celebrated.
I am the proud owner and Principal of Michelle's International Learning House. My background and degree are in Early Childhood Education, I also hold and Advanced Director certification. I have more than thirty five years of experience with nearly 30 years focused entirely in infant to 5 year olds and the remainder in kindergarten through second grade. I knew right from the start that being an educator was what I was meant to do. Working with children affords me a chance to see things through their eyes, to learn something new each and every day, and to see a better future through your children. Your child is like a precious gift that we get to unwrap a little more each day. Each day brings a new discovery, a new idea, shared explorations, and lots and lots of laughter.
In addition, I have five children and eight grandchildren (so far) of my own, so I am acutely aware of how difficult it is to entrust your child to someone else’s care. For that reason, our promise to you is that your child will become an integral part of our school family and receive the attention, love, and education they need to build a strong foundation. Our faculty is focused on your child’s happiness, wellbeing, and success.
We educate our children through play and engaging activities in all the core subject areas (reading, math, language arts, science, social studies, emotional and physical development), as well as instilling values, independence, problem-solving skills, and responsibility.
The environment at Michelle’s House is warm, cozy, family oriented, and positive. Michelle’s House is a family owned and operated learning center. Feel free to stop in at any time and catch a glimpse of our magic in action. We look forward to making you a part of our school family.
Sincerely, Jill R. Cerchione

Meet Our Faculty
Our faculty consist of experienced, trained professionals chosen for their warmth, creativity, experience with children, and commitment to excellence. We employ individuals who are nurturing, who understand child development and developmentally appropriate practices, and who respect each child as an individual. We seek employees who value collaboration with parents and colleagues and are passionate about the role they play. Our faculty encourages mutual respect for an individual’s personal characteristics. Many of our staff members are bilingual, exposing our children to different languages, cultures, and traditions.
Your child’s safety is our priority. Each faculty member has gone through a stringent background screening process which includes fingerprinting and FBI background checks, as well as screening through the Sex Offender Registry under the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act.
You want the best for your child. High quality early childhood education programs have a huge impact on your child’s future. Children enrolled in programs like ours,

A Note from Our Director:
Welcome to Michelle's House, my name is Cara Cerchione. I am happy to serve as the Director of Michelle's House. It is honor to be able to work every day surrounded by smiles and laughter! As a working mother of four children, I know the stress and worry that comes with being away from your child. My priority as Director is to ensure that every child feels welcome, safe and learns in our friendly, home-away-from-home environment. I also strive to make sure that each parent knows that we here at Michelle's House are a part of their village, because after all it does take a village to raise a child. We welcome parents to participate in our many yearly activities and send home pictures and messages throughout the day! I started in Child Care as an assistant teacher and worked my way up through the ranks. This allows me to truly understand all the inner workings of the preschool environment and better support both the staff and families. I hold an Advance Directors Certificate and use my eight years of Director experience to bring the best of both curriculum and fun to your students. We hold a Gold Seal Quality Rating and are fully accredited by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation.
